Setting Sail On a Boat That Never Sank

Once there was a boat that never sank.

It was carrying a lot of weight comparing to its capacity

It was made of wood, iron, silk and stone.

But it was never slowing down, not a day, not a second.

Going with a stable speed following one direction,

Days and nights, sempre, siempre.

It was carrying your baggages, your belongings.

Your clothes, your shoes and jewellery.

Your car, your home, your family.

Your favourite books, your breakfast,

The best chocolat chip cookie you've ever tasted

The best trip you've ever been to.

The boat was full of your thoughts, your dreams,

Your hopes and everything you've ever wanted to be,

All the cabins were fulled with the places you've ever wanted to see.

Somethings your eye had caught some day,

Some you'd like to get immediately,

Somethings you think you'd never have, some of everything,

With all the people you love, everyone was aboard...

It was your memories, your stories sailing

With each shock of wave to the stern

Your past was been left behind.

Present was holding the rudder

And futur was the limitless sea, to be discovered,

Getting ready to be cleaved by the sharp bow of the boat.

Row, row, row, row, ROW!

You weren't there to see the mighty boat

Being rowed by everyone at once,

Everyone that the present cared, so did you.

You were never a passenger.

You never saw how marvellous it was,

A relatively big, squeaky, fancy boat

Travelling on a sea of wonders.

And to prevent itself from sinking,

Dropping out obsolete, forgotten, stuff

And no longer welcomed, out of date people.

Some never understood the boat's presence,

The meaning behind, the utility

The why, the how, the fear of unknown

Some found it amazing to be around,

Eager to hope on the board and earn a permanent place.

It never sank, went on and on in a perfect trip,

The water underneath non-stop refreshing itself

Days and nights, sempre, siempre

Like sliding from an endless waterfall...

Not programmed like a machine to achieve a specific task

Not restricted by time, which is also the most valuable

How would you describe divinity?

Much more like "Eternity" or "Being fully in control" ?

and now the name of the boat: ___________________________________________________

Did you sank your boat?

Was it ever yours?

Or was it you, yourself?

Where is it?

Where is it heading?

When will it land?

You can call it Freedom, Justice, Humanity, You, Me, Hope, Time, Eternity, Nightmare, Boring, Life, Power, Kingdom, Safe, Music, XX, XY....

In my little dreamtown:

Adisseus, a goddess name I made up when I was little and I still tell myself some of her stories.

If I was a goddess my name would be Adisseus, daughter of Poseidon or Neptune as long as my father rules the seas I'm cool with that :).

Everything I ever cared about, every sad little thing, everyone passing by, everything I dreamt of...

Adisseuss has parts of me, sure I was my own inspiration, but it has a lot I want to have and I know where it's headed. So my question is how do I get on the boat to get there?
